How gay is gay

Today's topic hits a nerve. I know that we're all proud of who we are, I know that I am. It took me too long to be comfortable in my own skin. But being down here in the ATL for a little over six years I have seen & heard some wild things from a variety of individuals. Here's my question for tonight; Is there such a thing as being overly gay in today's society?

Well I love myself and I am openly gay around my certain areas.. I try to carry myself around my work environment as gentleman. I have seen some gays that carry theirselves as very flamboyant..I feel their is away that u carry urself in this society that wouldnt cause any gay bashing.

Yes, there is such a thing as being too gay. I do believe that everyone should be just who they are...but being overly gay is not who anyone is.

what is overly gay? you don't know how to carry yourself in varied situations without displaying your 'sexual preference choice'. to me, overly gay is letting the gay 'lifestyle' overtake you and by which you lose yourself to the 'lifestyle' versus adapting the 'lifestyle' to fit who you are.
